For Bordeaux wine, the most familiar producing areas definitely will be four famous Medoc villages, Graves, Pomerol and Saint-Emilion. In fact, their production accounted for a minority in total Bordeaux. There are a lot of the same villages and district can make the wine of great worth. Moreover, because there is no brand promotion, that may be of higher value.

Haut Medoc is located on the left bank of Bordeaux, surrounding area near to four famous Medoc villages. It had 5 Grands Crus Classés (Great Growths) of 1855 Classification. They are third growth Chateau La Lagune, fourth growth Chateau La Tour Carnet, and include Chateau Belgrave, Chateau Cantemerle, Chateau Camensac these 3 fifth growths. There still remain more than 100 Bourgeois, the outstanding within that include: Chateau Cissac, Chateau Citran, Chateau Beaumount, Su Chateau Sociando-Mallet and so on.

There are more than 100 Bourgeois situated at the northernmost tip of large Medoc. However, the outstanding estates are not too much, although several are better, sunch as Chateau Greysac, Chateau Lou Denne and Chateau La Tour De By.
Moulis is located on the left bank, in the center of large Medoc, possesses more than 30 Bourgeois. Several of them are very popular, they are: Chateau Poujeaux, Chateau Chasse Spleen, Chateau Maucaillou, etc...
In Listrac, more than 20 Bourgeois are adjacent to Moulis, but wine lovers are not familiar with too much of them, it is worth to promote ones are: Chateau Clarke, Chateau Fourcas-Dupre, Chateau Fourcas-Hosten and Chateau Moulin A Vent, etc...
Located on the right bank, less than a few miles to the west of Libourne town, Fronsac made the well-balanced, smooth wine of value. Within them, Chateau Mayne-Vieil is highly recommended by Parker. The Moueix family of Petrus purchased several estates here in recent years, resulting in full of longing for this area.
Lalande de Pomerol adjacent to Pomerol, which produced a number of wines with great value was very high, their style close to Pomerol fine wines.For example: Chateau Belles-Graves, Chateau Du Chapelain, Chateau La Croix-St.Andre and JPM Saint Louis, which has lower prices, but excellent quality, Super Valued.
