Tasting Note: |
Note 1855:
Resulting from the young vines of the chateau Léoville Poyferré, a property advised by Michel Rolland,Pavillon de Poyferré posts a typicity of composition which flashes back directly on this pretty Saint-Julien, fruity and balanced perfectly. Whereas success is confirmed for the elder one revalued with the rise (93/100) at Wine Advocate at the time of tastings of Bordeaux 2004 “en bouteille ". Pavillon de Poyferré,who succeeds Rich Moulin as a Second wine of Léoville Poyferré, is an early vintage which is tasted with much pleasure in its youth. Of a garnet-red red Net and brilliance, this structured wine, flexible and silky exhales elegant blackberry perfumes and blackcurrant then papers the palate of molten nuances of vanilla and cedar. And to lengthen, expenses and persistent, on a long spice tread... The quality-price ratio is impeccable! |
