Tasting Note: |
Wine Spectator (3/31/2003) Score: 87
Interesting aromas of berries, tobacco and cedar. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a tart fruit aftertaste. Best after 2007.
Decanter Rating:
Very deep colour, rich and earthy fruit, even a little hard, but much better than expected, good Cabernet fruit, has power and presence at the expense of elegance. Ready 2006-2015. (tasted en primeur)
Guide Hachette des Vins de France:
Delicate floral notes, with vanilla and roasted bread. Supple, warm, complex with round and soft tannins. On the palate, strawberries and prune, before a long and pleasant finsh. Forecasted peak: 8 years.
