Tasting Note: |
Wine Advocate #164 (4/2006) Rating: 84-86 points
A pleasant, picnic-styled 2005, this wine offers sweet cherry and currant fruit, a medium ruby/purple color, moderate body, light tannin, and a short finish ... especially for the vintage. -Robert Parke
Wine Spectator (3/31/2008) Score: 91
A soft, fruity wine, with blackberry, coffee and light vanilla on the nose and palate. Full, with very velvety tannins and a long, flavorful finish. This is right on the mark now. Best after 2010. 5,830 cases made. –JS
Decanter Rating:
Good concentration of fruit, rather rough and unpolished in this range, but has depth and flavour. Drink 2009-16. |
