Tasting Note: |
Wine Advocator#171(6/2007) Rating: 90 Drink: 2012-2025
Aromas of cedar, spice box, incense, burning embers, black currants, and new wood jump from the glass of this full-bodied, structured effort. Behaving more like a Pauillac than a Margaux, it is a long, concentrated, powerful wine meant for long aging. -Robert Parker
Wine Spectator (3/31/2007) Score: 88
Aromas of cedar, berry and sandalwood. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long finish. Mouth-puckering. Slightly over extracted, but should come around. Best after 2010. 6,000 cases made. –JS
