Tasting Note: |
Wine Advocate# 116(1998-4) Rating: (85-86) points Drink: 1998 - 2005
A very good effort from Camensac, the 1997 reveals good cleanliness, elegance, and a spicy, berry, herb, and mineral-scented nose with mocha in the background. The wine is medium-bodied, with low acidity, and attractive density. It should drink well for 5-7 years. -Robert Parker
Wine Spectator (1/31/2000) Score: 83
Berry and cherry character, with a slight stewed fruit undertone. Medium-bodied, with medium tannins and a light finish. –JS
