Tasting Note: |
Wine Advocate #158 (4/2005) Rating: 87points Drink: 2005-2013
Made in a pretty, elegant, fruity, dark ruby-hued style, the 2002 offers notes of allspice, plums, and resin, followed by attractive medium-bodied black cherry and currant flavors. Not a big wine, it is a well-balanced, elegant claret for enjoying over the next 7-8 years. - Robert Parker
Wine Spectator (03/31/2005) Score: 84
Another slightly austere red with plum and sweet herb aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, with austere tannins and a slightly dry finish. Same as from barrel. Best after 2006. 14,165 cases made. –JS
