Wine Advocate # 181 (2/2009) Rating: 86-87 points Drink: 2010 - 2020
A classy bargain pick from the Medoc, this 2006 (part of the Bernard Magrez empire) is a blend of 64% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 14% Cabernet Franc. A dark ruby color is accompanied by aromas of leafy vegetation, berries, spice box, and earth. In the mouth there is very good fruit, light to moderate tannin, and surprisingly length. Give it 1-3 years of cellaring and enjoy it over the following decade. Good value. -Robert Parker
Wine Spectator (2007) Score range: 80-84
There's some clean fruit character, but this finishes a bit austere and lean.–JS
