Wine Advocate #171(6/2007) Rating: 88 points Drink: 2007-2013
Aromas of new saddle leather, fleshy black cherries and black currants, and underbrush appear in this soft, opulent, complex, delicious effort. A sleeper of the vintage, it should drink beautifully for 5-6 years. -Robert Parker

A change of style: one is drowning somewhat in the vanilla oak and the chocolate which quickly transforms into a heavy tannin. But at least there is work here and a desire to follow it through. Here it’s the terroir which shows the limits of the vintage.
