Wine Advocate # 178 (8/2008) Rating: 89 points Drink: 2008 – 2012
Owner Bernard Magrez has fashioned a 78% Merlot and 22% Cabernet Franc blend that is a noteworthy sleeper of the vintage. Sweet currant and cherry fruit intermixed with aromas of sandalwood, loamy soil, spice, and earth jump from the glass of this ripe, heady, medium-bodied, silky smooth 2005. Consume it over the next 3-4 years. - Robert Parker
